Lotus University’s Faculty of Nursing aims to offer a program and teaching approaches that align with the market’s current demands. The goal is to train nursing professionals who are both scientifically and professionally competent, capable of delivering exceptional care to all community members, and able to excel in research, education, and the job market while upholding high ethical standards. That and in addition to preparing them ethically and emotionally, in order to carry on with such a humanitarian career.
The Faculty’s study is focused on preparing competent graduates who can deliver healthcare and nursing services to individuals, families, and society during times of health and illness. This is achieved by applying fundamental knowledge from nursing, medical, and human sciences to enhance health standards, prevent diseases, and provide care and rehabilitation to patients.

 

The study includes the following objectives:

● Cultivating graduates’ holistic leadership qualities by imparting leadership skills, promoting teamwork, and teaching them professionalism and quality standards.
● Creating a conducive environment for scientific research, utilizing Faculty laboratories for research purposes that benefit the profession and society, and collaborating with hospitals.
● Conducting theoretical and practical research on health challenges in society to contribute to sustainable development programs in Egypt, specifically in the Delta region.
● Offering nursing expertise to healthcare organizations to contribute to community development.
● Fostering cultural and academic relationships between the Faculty and various scientific institutions and nursing Facultys at local, Arab, and international universities.

The Faculty of Nursing at Lotus University includes eight scientific departments:

1- Adult Nursing.
2- Critical care and emergency nursing.
3- Maternal and neonatal health nursing.
4- Pediatric nursing.
5- Psychiatric mental health nursing.
6- Community health nursing.
7- Nursing Administration.
8- Nursing the elderly.
